We all want and believe different things—We experience the world differently.

Different back stories and different interpretations.

When considering another’s experience, think about how you would feel in their shoes.

Then again…

It’s never about what you would feel if you were them.

It’s about what they would feel, having always been them.

They’re not just you in their shoes.

And yet, point of view is biasing, and past experiences create emotional baggage.

A fresh perspective, while differently informed, at least brings a different bias.

So even if someone could magically access our full experience…

Their perspective would merely become a duplicate of our own.
