Computers can multitask by having multiple CPU cores that tend to each task simultaneously.

So they can literally do two different tasks at the same time.

Humans, however, don’t have multiple brains.

Attempts at human multitasking involve jumping back and forth between tasks, often to the detriment of both.

Humans can’t really multitask.

Then again, computers have only had multiple CPU cores since 2001, yet we’ve been claiming they multitask for much longer.

Even today, computers are still mostly switching back and forth between tasks.

The same method humans use to pseudo-multitask.

One human brain, though, does do many things concurrently.

It pumps your heart

Interprets your vision

Monitors your balance

Works your muscles

On top of manipulating your consciousness and subconscious.

All these things simultaneously.
Not switching back and forth.

Humans multitask more than computers.

Then again, the human brain has different areas that become responsible for different processes.

Is it multi-tasking or is it multiple systems doing singular jobs concurrently?
