No matter where you look for God, it could always be somewhere else.
Science could explain everything we can fathom, and yet everything can still exist due to a master plan.
A lack of god is unprovable.
On the other hand, if you believe in God, you may interpret events as part of God’s plan.
If you believe in God, you might identify things as a miracles, and evidence for your belief.
There is plenty of proof for God if you choose to interpret it that way.
It follows, then, that if proof is impossible for a hard-line atheist, while a religious person claims plenty for their belief, who is relying more on faith isn’t so clear cut.
There is no proof for hard-line atheism.
You must have faith.
